Hello, I’m J.R.

I translate my customers’ goals into actionable web strategies to get things done.

I’ve been building websites since 1996 when I first became obsessed with the information sharing power of the web.  Since cutting my web teeth at the W.M. Keck Observatory, I’ve helped over 150 clients develop their websites into marketing tools. You can follow me on Twitter or LinkedIn.

Photographer
As an architectural photographer I have photographed some of the most expensive homes in Hawaii, including the $30 million Kauhale Pilialoha which was sold in 2007 to Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque du Soleil. My passion is photographing places and my photos have been seen in the Robb Report, Wall Street Journal, Unique Homes, Dupont Registry and other publications.

Personal
A fifth-generation Oregonian, I spent 18 years on Hawaii’s Big Island, two years in San Francisco, two years in Ashland, Oregon and I’m now a resident of Portland  where I live with my wife, twin-boys, four chickens, a cuddly pitbull and an overweight cat.
